Rachel Coker was elected president of Temple Concord in May 2011, after serving for several years as a member of the Board of Trustees and as the coordinator of the synagogue's Tot Time program for preschoolers. A native of Bucks County, Pa., she moved to the Greater Binghamton area in 2000. She and her husband, both higher education communications professionals, have two young daughters.
