CHOW

Through our CHOW pantry, Temple Concord participates in the valuable community area.  The needfor emergency food by local families continutes to increase.

Our pantry is open about 100 days each year.  Families of four or more make up almost one-third of those who come to us for hep.  We do this job with a bare minimum of dedicated volunteers, some not even Temple members  Our gratitude is due to the volunteers who make it possible for Temple Concord to continue fulfilling the mitzvah of "feeding the hungry."  Their hearts are big and their work is arduous.

On one of the Bulletin Boards just inside the lobby, there is a list of most needed packaged and canned non-perishable foodsfor our CHOW basket.  What you bring to the basket goes directly on ur pantry shelves, poviding items currently in short supply and not available from the CHOW warehouse.
